COM-Funded Labs and Institutes (multi-year project investments over FY2017-2022)

COM_Map_1000x750_web

The Climate Observations and Monitoring program funds organizations across the country (as seen above) to utilizeNOAA’s vast observational and paleoclimate datasets that are freely available. Projects develop data products valuable to understanding the earth’s climate system processes and would not be possible without extensive collaboration between Federal and extramural communities. The map above highlights the different universities, private institutes, co-operative institutions and government laboratories that have received direct Multi-year investments from competitions awarded in FY2017, FY2018, FY2020.
