Climate Program Office groups co-organized a session titled "Climate Services for Decision Makers" at the U.S. Center as part of the UN Conference of Parties (COP26).

The NOAA Blue Carbon Inventory Project addresses the nexus of climate, ecosystems and the human communities that depend on them, and provides opportunities to explore co-benefits for mitigation and adaptation. The effort also demonstrates how NOAA can work across line offices and the U.S. government agency community to share scientific, technical, and stewardship knowledge and experience with other countries

The symposium will help determine how NOAA's climate, weather and environmental information can be usefully applied to and better serve the health community in predicting and managing the COVID-19 pandemic.

Pacific RISA is leveraging the NCA4 regional chapter and Pacific Islands Regional Climate Assessment with workshops and new products that respond to informational requests from the U.S.-Affiliated Pacific Islands and aim to build a more robust and inclusive regional network
